My ex and I were irresponsible (no lectures please). She wants to get back together and I don’t but reckon maybe I should because It will help lower her stress during pregnancy which is excellent for my future child. Should we get back together for the baby???????

if you reckon that you and the mother of your child will be pleased about getting back together, sure. if you or her are going to be less pleased, and might benefit from being apart (although you should still be supportive) then no, dont do it. it’s possible to not be in a romantic relationship and still be there for her and the baby.

NO!! Getting back together for the baby is only going to hurt the child because it will have listen to all of the arguing that will ensue. If you don’t really want to work things out, then you shouldn’t just because you’re having a kid. You should be there for her because you made that baby together and it certainly deserves the best. Go to doctors visits try to establish a friendship because like it or not you will be tied to each other for the rest of your lives now. If down the road you choose to rekindle things then that is terrific, but don’t do it just for the child. Chances are things won’t work out anyways and you both will have caused undue stress onto yourselves and foremost your child.

Yes, if there is any chance at all you might change your mind along the way and stay together permanently.
If there is for sure no such chance, be a gentleman and help her if you can, but make it clear from the start that you are NOT getting back together.

if u are pleased being wid her and u see u having a excellent future together then yeah, but if ur not pleased wid her than no because u reckon u are helping the baby out but in the end ur doing more hurt being there and lleaving then really not being there. im not saying not to have anything to wid the baby. what ever is the best for u is what im saying

helping her along with the pregnancy would be very responcible and kind of you. but getting back together for the baby may not work. The stress of the relationship may hard the chold after he/she is born. Talk with your ex and tell her your here to hlep with the child and you never know you may fall back in like:) but dont get together just for the child. You dont have to be "together" to be in the childs life.
best of luck!!!

IF YOUR NOT PLEASED WITH THE PERSON THAT YOUR IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH NO ONE WILL BE PLEASED!
I TRIED IT & IT DOESNT WORK AT ALL IF YOU BELIEVE THAT ITS NOT GOING TO WORK DONT TRY PUTTING YOUR HEART INTO NUTHING.
BECAUSE IN THE END YOU COULD END UP NOT ONLY HURTING YOUR CHILD BUT YOURSELF.& HER!
DO WHATS BEST FOR YOU!
FOLLOW YOUR HEART

if ur ex wants you back… and if you want to be with her then yes… and FYI hormones can be a pain. so try to know if she gets werid and wants diffrent things.if she gets moodswings.. but yeah
what do you have to lose? if you want to see it could workout. then try it. and if it doesn’t work out then it wasn’t meant to be. so you don’t have to wonder " why didn’t i?" all you can do is *try.* even if you don’t want to be with her. then don’t. you can always be there and help out and what not. if your have the balls to have sex then you should have the balls to step up to the plate and be a man and be the larger person and help out with the baby. is all i can say. she’s going to have stress anyway. and you can always be with here and reassure her everything is going to be okay. and support her. all you can do is try.
