Fix A Relationship Gone Bad
You can have the most loving of relationships, be an example to all as the perfect couple and your relationship can still have its tough patches. We are only human and none of us perfect, so it is a perfectly reasonable thought, that once you hit a rough patch, you wonder if it is just a temporary blip, or is it something more serious. If it is more serious then how can you fix a relationship gone bad?
Obviously, I hope that it is just something simple that is easily resolved, if it is not, you need to look carefully at the relationship to see if it is something worth saving. Has the relationship become a dark one, are you no longer treated with the respect that you deserve? Is there abuse? If your safety is at risk then leave now and build a bright future for yourself with someone who can appreciate you! On the other hand, if the love is still there for you then you need to work out how to save your relationship.
You need to identify where you think the problem is, there is rarely any simple answer as to why a relationship is faltering, which is probably because relationships are complicated things that need careful tending and nurturing. Is the problem merely down to a simple misunderstanding that spun out of control? Has the relationship grown stale because you have started taking each other for granted? Do you have habits that drive your partner nuts? And the most important question, are you still the people who fell in love with each other all that time ago? People do change, that is what happens in life, we keep moving on, the important thing is to keep moving forward with your partner.
You can fix a relationship gone bad if you communicate with each other. Never play the blame game, it will just exacerbate the situation and you could lose your partner. Talk to your partner about your fears, that you love them but have started to worry about whether the relationship will last. Let them know your thoughts and if you have anything to apologise for then do so, if you have seen areas within yourself that could be changed then tell them. You need to get your partners perspective on the relationship, maybe they were concerned about how things were going but did not know how to broach the subject? Once you know how each other feels, of what you both want and need then you have a basis on which to strengthen your relationship.
Both of you are entitled to a loving, fulfilling relationship where who you are is both cherished and respected. It will not happen by magic, this is something that you both have to work at, but if you love each other it is hardly a burdensome chore, is it? I do not know how long things have drifted for so it may time to fix things. You can fix a relationship gone bad by doing all the things that make it strong. Show affection to each other, call them to let them know that you are thinking about them, go for simple dates like a walk in a park, find interests that you can share together. People might change over time but there is no reason why you cannot keep your love fresh and alive for each other.
Back to my original question of how you can fix a relationship gone bad. Both of you have a right to a loving and fulfilling relationship. A relationship is composed of two equal, separate halves brought together by love. Without one half there is no relationship. If you work at your relationship you will make it stronger. If you both communicate and share your thoughts and feelings then any potential problems can be identified early and dealt with before they can grow. If you do all this then you just might find that life becomes richer and each fresh day something to look forward to and treasure. I really hope that everything works out for you.
Being a student of life I thought it about time to get my ideas down in the hope that they will help people with whatever difficulties they are facing.
