who’s being cynical? I’m stating a fact. Seen too many awesome people I know battered around by an ex who had no respect for them in the first place-best to find someone that does is what I am saying.

this is just the type of jaded cynicism that is the root of too many problems in relationships. women, who have been treated poorly and without respect by men, become hardened against the thing they’ve always wanted: a romantic ideal relationship where the guy proves that he likes the woman in spite of the difficulty. and in fact, some relationships should NOT be resurrected. i am not addressing those. my approach is for those that can be and should be given another chance, this time a better 1

I hhave a question for you, I have been in a relationship for about 4 years now. She had a drug ridden son who place us both thru hell and stuck with her. She lost her job over a year ago and I have been supporting us both..I took a new job because I lost my last one and this job is an hour way..So I live in a small one bedroom apartment..which during the week is hell….I go home on weekends…Now she says its over because I have been acting like an asshole.
